October 1, 2018 Ian McVey, Ohio Northern McVey won his second consecutive Div. III All-Ohio individual title with a career-best time of 24:23.8. His time ranks as the second-fastest 8K time in school history. The Polar Bears placed fourth among Div. III schools, 11th overall in a field 39 schools.
September 24, 2018 Isaac Wilson Baldwin Wallace Wilson paced the Yellow Jackets at the highly competitive Purple Valley Classic. Wilson placed 40th in a field of 209 runners with a time of 27:03.2. BW place 10th among 16 teams.
September 17, 2018 Jamey Ehret Otterbein Ehret took home his first career victory at the Otterbein Invitational. Ehret posted a time of 26:25.00 to place first in a field of 87 runners and lead the Cardinals to the team title.
September 10, 2018 Ian McVey, Ohio Northern McVey led all Division III runners and finished third overall at the Calvin Knight Invitational with a time of 25:06.00. The Polar Bears finished 11th in the 23-team field. McVey was also named runner of the week on September 4.
September 4, 2018 Ian McVey Ohio Northern McVey won the Bluffton 6k by an impressive 23.50 seconds, finishing with a time of 18:53.0. The Polar Bears finished second among the four teams.
October 16, 2017 Austin Neura, Heidelberg Neura was the first collegiate runners to cross the finish line. The team finished 7th in a field of 21 teams.
October 2, 2017 Ian McVey, Ohio Northern McVey became the first Polar Bear to win the All-Ohio Championships Div. III race, finishing in a season-best 25:14. He lead ONU to its third team title since 2011.
September 25, 2017 Isaac Wilson, Baldwin Wallace Wilson won his first career individual title and led the Yellow Jackets to first place at the 13 team Harrier Invitationl hosted by Shenandoah (Va.) Unviersity. Wilson completed the 6k event in 19:34.2, 4.1 second ahead of the second-place runner.
September 18, 2017 Matt Andrews, John Carroll Andrews helped JCU to the Tiffleberg Open title by placing first out of 126 competitors with a time of 25:14.8.
September 11, 2017 Ian Kellogg, Otterbein Kellogg won the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational, coving the course in 25:29.3 to lead the Cardinals to a first place finish out of 18 teams.
September 5, 2017 Ian McVey, Ohio Northern McVey led the Polar Bears with a second place finish at the eight-team Bluffton 6k in 18:40, finishing first among NCAA Division III runners.
October 18, 2016 Elliot Thorkelson, John Carroll Thorkelson place 17th out of 383 runners at the Rowan Inter-Regional Border Battle with a time of 24: 24.8. He was the top OAC runner. The Blue Streak finished 17th out of 45 runners.
October 3, 2016 Andrew Harden, Ohio Northern Harden was the top OAC finisher at the All-Ohio Championship with a third place finish in a field of 114 runners. Harden posted a time of 26:009 to lead the Polar Bears to a second place finish out of 16 teams.
September 26, 2016 Derek Knabe, Capital Capital junior Derek Knabe (Cincinnati/Oak Hills) placed second in a field of 27 runners at the Columbus State/Capital Invitational to lead the Crusaders to first place. Knabe posted a time of 27:31.0.
September 19, 2016 Preston Myers, Mount Union Mount Union freshman Preston Myers (Alliance/Marlington) led the Purple Raiders to the Yellow Jacket Invitational title with a first place finish. Knight Invite. The Polar Bear’s finished second out of 29 teams. ONU was just points (59-57) short from upsetting No. 16 Calvin for team title.
