Beckwith won her first collegiate title by five strokes at BW Yellow Jacket Invite held at Mallard Creek Golf Course. Beckwith finished with a score of 161 (79-82, +17 par). The Blue Steaks finished third in the four team field.

Miller finished runner up at the Gatorade Collegiate Classic held at Zoar Village Golf Course. Miller shot rounds of 73 and a career-low 70 to help the Yellow Jackets to the team title by 10 strokes.

House took home the individual title at the Sodexo Grizzley Invite hosted by Franklin College. House won by 18 seconds, finishing with a time of 22:39.10.

McVey won the Bluffton 6k by an impressive 23.50 seconds, finishing with a time of 18:53.0. The Polar Bears finished second among the four teams.

Ruple led the Yellow Jackets to a 1-1 record at the Herb Lauffer Memorial Tournament, including a 3-2 season-opening win over Geneseo (N.Y.). He  tallied three goals and one assist on nine shots to be named tournament MVP.

In Velotta's first career start against Transylvania, he allowed just one goal and recorded five saves to force a tie 1-1. Velotta also posted his first career victory and shutout in a 9-0 win over Cincinnati State.

Campbell led the Student Princes to a 4-0 victory over Transylvania, scoring a hat trick and adding an assist. Campbell also assisted on Heidelberg's only goal in a 2-1 loss to Wooster.

Hott helped the Cardinals to the Penn State-Behrend's Herb Lauffer Memorial Tournament title with shutouts over Thoams More and PSU-Behrend. The Otterbein defense held opponents to just seven shots over the two outings.  In addition to her defense, Hott recorded an assist in each victory, including a 40-yard run into the attacking zone for an assist on Saturday.

Peck averaged 3.17 kills/set, posted a .500 hitting percent and tallied 10 blocks to help lead the Purple Raiders to a 4-0 record at the Mount Union Invite. Peck also hit a career-high 14 kill against Wooster.  For her efforts she earned All-Tournament honors and was named MVP.

Kukura scored three of JCU's six's touchdowns in a 45-21 win over UW-Stevens Point to open the season. He has moved into JCU's all-time top-10 with 22 career rushing touchdowns. Kukura also had a kick return for 18 yards to give him a team-high 142 all-purpose yards for the game, including 124 yards rushing for a single-game career

Blackiston opened his college career with an impressive 16 tackles, including 5.5 for a loss and three sacks to help the Student Princes to a 21-17 come-from-behind win over Olivet.

Leverette opened the season with a school-record and George Finnie Stadium record 100-yard kickoff return. Leverette also caught three passes for 63 yards with a 37-yard touchdown to help the Yellow Jackets to a 63-21 victory over Alma (Mich.).
