The Crusaders opened their season with eight games in Florida. Walter led the team, batting .423 (11-of-26) with three runs, a triple and three RBI. Walters also posted a .464 on-base percentage.
South Park, Pa./South Park
Fetsko batted .538 (7-of-13) with two doubles and three RBI to help the Pioneers to 3-0 record during their opening weekend in Georgia.
Fetsko hit safely in each of Marietta's three wins this weekend. He was 4-for-5 with a double and two runs batted in against Berry College. Fetsko followed that performance with a 2-for-4 day and another double versus Emory. He also had a hit and an RBI in a 5-3 win over Adrian College.
Washington Twp., NJ/Old Tappan
Oberhelman tossed six innings against Berry College, scattering three hits and allowing just one unearned run. He struck out four, walked one and held the Vickings to a .136 batting average.
Logan placed third overall at the Mars Hill Invite in Fletcher, N.C. with a score of 150 (77, 73, +6 par). The Crusaders finished fourth in the six team field.
