Walker carried the ball 29 times for 224 yards and three touchdown to lead the Pioneers past Capital, 49-21. Walker scored on runs of 5, 4, and 70 yards. This is the third consecutive athlete of the week honor for Walker.

Mason McKenrick

In a 52-16 victory at Otterbein, McKenrick had eight tackles, including five solo. He recovered a fumble in the third quarter a that led to JCU's fourth touchdown of the day and then had a "pick 6" interception in the fourth quarter.

In a 52-16 victory at Otterbein, Golphin began the second half by returning the opening kickoff 98 yards for a touchdow to fuel a 38-point second half explosion.


Carly Adams

Hopkinton, MA/Hopkinton

Adams won two indivdual events to help lead the Blue Streaks past Mount Union. She captured first in both the 100 and 200 backstroke and swam the  backstroke leg on the winning 400 Medley Relay.


Tyler Thompson

Broadview Hts./Brecksville-Broadview Hts.

Thompson won three individual events and one relay to lead BW past Manchester.  He captured the 100-yard breaststroke (59.77), the 200-yard breaststroke (2:18.11) and the 200-yard individual medley (2:07.73) and swam the second leg on the winning 200-yard medley relay (1:41.35).


Jarrod Brezovec
141 pounds
Aurora, Ohio/Aurora

Brezovec went 4-0 and placed first at the Adrian Invitational this past weekend. Brezovec collected two wins by pin fall, one of which was in the championship match against Brice Everson of Wabash, securing the 141-pound title in the second period. Brezovec also collected wins by decision and major decision, and scored at least 13 points in those two matches.
