Three Selected to Capital One Academic All-America Volleyball Team

[11/16/11] - Austintown, OH- The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) has announced the 2011 Volleyball Academic All-OAC
winners today. The following is a complete list of the honorees. The academic award winners are selected by the OAC faculty representatives. To be eligible for Academic All-OAC, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.25 cumulative gpa, be a starter or key reserve and be in at least her second year of participation in the sport.

[11/10/11] - GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.—Facing elimination and the end of its season entering the fourth set, the Heidelberg University volleyball team rallied to take the frame and edged Geneva (Pa.) College in the fifth set to earn a 3-2 (24-26, 25-14, 22-25, 25-18, 17-15) victory in the first round of the 2011 NCAA Volleyball Tournament at Van Noord Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich. The win advances the Berg to the second round where it will face the winner between the Rose-Hulman (Ind.) Institute of Technology and No. 5 Wittenberg University.
