Three Named to CoSIDA Academic All-America Div. III Men’s Track & Field/Cross Country Team

Three have been named to the Acaemic All-America Division III Men's Track & Field/ Cross Country Team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Mount Union senior Tyler Orewiler (Bucyrus/Colonel Crawford) and Baldwin Wallace senior Ben Beidleman (Washiongton, D.C./ Saint Anselm's Abbey) were selected first team. 

Orewiler, an Academic All-American for a second straight year, earned All-American honors in the pole vault at both NCAA Outdoor and Indoor Championships finishing second and third in the nation respectively. He swept both the OAC indoor and outdoor titles setting, school and conference records in the process.

Orewiler graduated with a bachelor's degree in Biology with a 3.86 grade point average.

Beidelman has earned Academic All-America honors for the third time. Beidelman is the school-record holder in the indoor 200-meter dash. He is a two-time OAC champion in the outdoor 200-meter dash, including this spring, and earned NCAA Division III All-American accolades in the 200 meters as a sophomore. 

Beidelman graduted with a bachelor's degree in Accounting with a 3.95 grade point average.

Baldwin Wallace senior Tyler Burdorff (Painesville/ Riverside) was a second team selection. Burdorff is a two-time Division III All-American and was the runner-up at the NCAA Division III Indoor National Championship meet in the weight throw and was national runner-up in the hammer throw during the outdoor season.

Burdorff carried a 3.42 grade point average in exercise science and pre-physical therapy.
