February 5, 2018 Tyler Fry, Mount Union In loss at Westminster on Saturday, Fry won the 100 backstroke with a time of 53.49 and the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:57.17. Fry was also a member of the 400 yard freestyle relay team that finished second with a time of 3:21.03 where his split was 25.08. As a member of the 200 yard medley relay team, his split was 25.08 while his team finished third with a time of 1:39.92
January 29, 2018 Nolan Huey, Ohio Northern In a tri-meet at nationally ranked Kenyon with Ohio Wesleyan, Huey placed third in the 200 free in 1:45.76 and the 100 back in :53.50. Huey followed that performance up with two victories against nationally-ranked Case Western Reserve as he won the 100 back in :53.70 and the 200 back in 1:57.49. He was also second in the 400 I.M. in 4:20.30.
January 22, 2018 Matt Ramsey John Carroll Ramsey won six events last weekend to help lead the Blue Streaks past Baldwin Wallace and Wooster for the first time since 2011. Against Wooster, Ramsey won the 50 free (21.46), 100 free (47.95) and was part of the winning 200 free relay (1:36.41). Versus BW, Ramsey took home first place in the 200 free (1:49.72) and was part of the winning 400 medley relay (3:40.01) and 400 free relay (3:21.95).
January 15, 2018 Braden Kuhn, Ohio Northern Kuhn helped the Polar Bears to a 182-118 victory over Mount Union. Kuhn won the 1-meter diving with 280.85 points, surpassing the NCAA qualifying standard of 275 on the 1-meter board. He also won the 3-meter diving with 258.15 points.
December 11, 2017 Logan Palochak-Mount Union Palochak won the 50 yard butterfly with a school-record time of 23.41 to lead the Purple Raiders against St. Vincent (Pa.). The previous record of 24.46 was set six years ago. Palochak also took second in 50 yard freestyle (22.20) and 200 yard backstroke (2:01.92).
December 4, 2017 Nolan Huey, Ohio Northern Huey led ONU to a fifth place finish at the Wooster Invitational this past weekend. He broke his own school record in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:52.98 to finish third. Huey also finished first 200 IM (1:55.18) and 400 IM (4:8.60).
November 20, 2017 Ian Simpson-Ohio Northern Simpson posted four victories to lead ONU to a victory over Wittenberg last week. Simpson swept the backstroke events, winning the 100 back in :55.41 and the 200 back in 2:05.32. He was also a part of the 200 medley and 200 free relay teams that took first place in each event.
November 13, 2017 Tyler Fry, Mount Union Fry placed first in the 100 freestyle (49.53) and 200 freestyle (1:49.94) to help lead the Purple Raiders past Oberlin, 163-97. Fry also anchored the winning 400 freestyle relay team (3:24.1).
November 6, 2017 Tyler Thompson, Baldwin Wallace Thompson won three individual events and one relay to lead BW past Manchester. He captured the 100-yard breaststroke (59.77), the 200-yard breaststroke (2:18.11) and the 200-yard individual medley (2:07.73) and swam the second leg on the winning 200-yard medley relay (1:41.35).
October 30, 2017 Tom Pacak, John Carroll Pacak won two individual events was a member of two first place relays to lead the Blue Streaks against Div. II Ashland. Pacak won the 200 freestyle (01:47.4), 100 freestyle (48.68). He was the anchor for the winning 200 medley relay and 200 free relay.
October 23, 2017 Logan Paloachak, Mount Union Agianst Malone, Palochak won the 50 yard freestyle (22.02), the 100 yard freestyle (48.44) and was a member of the 200 yard medley relay (1:38.98) where he posted a split of 24.51. Versus Hiram, Palochak won the 200 yard butterfly (2:05.57), the 200 yard backstroke (2:04.21) along with being a member of the 200 yard medley relay (1:40.06) team and finishing second as a member of the 400 yard freestlye team (3:30.59).
January 30, 2017 Tom Pacak, John Carroll Pacak led the Blue Streaks past Wilmington with two individual first place finishes in the 100 free (01:46.7) and 200 free (01:46.7) and was a member of the winning 200 medley relay team (01:38.0).
January 9, 2017 Jacob Burk, Baldwin Wallace Burk won the 500-yard freestyle, placed second in the 200-yard freestyle and was the third leg on the 200-yard freestyle team that placed third in BW's loss to Widener (Pa.) University last Friday during its annual Florida training trip. He won the 500-free in a in a time of 5:03.11 and was the runner-up in the 200-free in a season-best time of 1:53.71.
December 12, 2016 Tyler Moore, Mount Union Moore won four events to lead the Purple Raiders past St. Vincent. Moore touched first in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:00.19) and the 200 yard breaststroke (2:15.74). Moore was also part of the first place 200 yard freestyle relay (1:28.22) and the 400 yard medley relay (3:35.37).
December 5, 2016 Nolan Huey, Ohio Northern Huey led the Polar Bears to fourth place at The College of Wooster Invitational. He placed fourth in the 200 individual medley (1:56.7) and second in the 400 individual medley (4:28.3, B cut, school record). Huey also placed second in the 1650 freestyle (16:22.7) and was part of the second place 400 medley relay (4:28.3).
November 21, 2016 Tyler Fry, Mount Union Fry (Massillon/Washington) helped lead the Purple Raiders to a win over Baldwin Wallace. Fry won the 50 yard backstroke (25.43), the 100 yard backstroke (54.57) and was part of the first place 400 yard medley relay team (3:39.57).
November 14, 2016 David Spraul, Wilmington Spraul tallied three first place finishes as the Quakers defeated Hiram College last week. Spraul won the 50 meter backstrok (29.14), 100 meter backstroke, 1:05.0 and was part of the winning 200 meter free relay team (1:47.8)
November 7, 2016 Anjel Clemente, Manchester Clemente became the programs'first male diver to win an event with a scored of 224.45 in the six-dive, one-meter competition at Baldwin Wallace. Was a close second in the five-dive section, tallying a 140.6, just eights points behind B-W’s Jon Levin.
October 31, 2016 Nolan Huey, Ohio Northern In a win against Wilmington, Huey recorded two first place finishes in the 200 free in 1:48.89 and the 100 back in :55.47. He also finished second in the 100 back in :55.47. Huey also led the way with three first place finishes in a loss at John Carroll. October 24, 2016 David Kirtek, John Carroll Kirtek helped the Blue Streak defeat Case Western Reserve for the first time since 1997, by a score of 126-115. Kirtek was the only Blue Steak to win three events-- 200 IM (02:00.9), 100 breaststroke (01.01.8), 400 medley relay (3:38.42). February 1, 2016 Tom Pacak, John Carroll John Carroll freshman Tom Pacak (Solon/Benedictine) has earned OAC Athlete of the Week honors for the second time. Pacak won the 200-meter free (1:58.3) and 400-meter free (4:25.2) and was a member of the second place 400-meter free relay team that helped the Blue Streaks to secure a one point victory over Wilmington. January 25, 2016 Tom Pacak, John Carroll John Carroll freshman Tom Pacak (Solon/Benedictine) posted six first place finishes last week to lead the Blue Streaks past Hiram and Baldwin Wallace. Versus Hiram, he won the 100 meter freestyle (55.64), 400 meter freestyle (4:30.8) and was part of the first place 200 meter relay team (1:56.0). January 11, 2016 Andrew Hinds, Manchester University Manchester University freshman Andrew Hinds (Elkhart, Ind.) touched first in the 50-yard breaststroke (28.9 seconds) and the 100-yard backstroke (60.52 seconds) and was on the winning 200-yard medley relay team (1:47.07) to help lead the Spartans to a 102-94 victory over Olivet College (Mich.) Hinds also placed second in the 100-yard individual medley in a school record time of 58.96.
December 14, 2015 Tyler Fry, Mount Union Fry won the 200 yard medley relay (1:38.62), the 100 yard backstroke (53.21), the 200 yard backstroke (1:58.03), and was a part of the 400 yard freestyle relay win with a time of 3:15.63.
December 7, 2015 Tyler Brand, Manchester Manchester freshman Tyler Brand (Pendleton, Ind./Pendelton Heights) helped the Black and Gold to a third place finish at the Illinois Tech Invitational. Brand won the 1000-yard free in 10:57.82, breaking his own school-record by almost four second. Brand also earned second place in the 500-yard free with a time of (5:14.73). November 23, 2015 Gavin Rundell, Mount Union Mount Union senior Gavin Rundell (Mount Vernon) led the Purple Raiders past Baldwin Wallace and John Carroll last week with seven first place finishes. Rundell won the 500 yard free (4:54.05), 200 yard medley relay (1:36.98), and the 200 yard free relay (1:30.17) against Baldwin Wallace. He won the 200 yard free (1:49.81), the 200 yard fly (1:58.81), the 100 yard fly (52.71), and was a part of the 200 yard medley relay win (1:37.33) against John Carroll. November 16, 2015 Tom Pack, John Carroll John Carroll freshman Tom Pacak (Solon/Benedictine) helped the Blue Steaks to a 123-100 win over Ohio Wesleyan with wins in the 200 free (1:44.6), 500 free (4:47.9) and was a part of the winning 400 medley relay (3:39.7). His 200 free times is the 27th fastest in Div. III this season.
November 9, 2015 Erik Spraul, Wilmington Wilmington junior Erik Spraul (Cincinnati/Princeton) won three individual events and one relay as the Quakers defeated Wittenberg and Transylvania in a double-dual meet. It was Wilmington's first win over Wittenberg in program history. He won the 100 butterfly (1:01.58) and after a 10-minute break, returned to claim the individual medley (2:17.51). November 2, 2015 Peter He, Ohio Northern Ohio Northern freshman Pete He (Mason) led the Polar Bears to a 2-0 week, as they defeated Wilmington and John Carroll. Versus Wilmington, the HE claimed first place finishes in the 200 freestyle in 2:01.3, 100 freestyle in 54.88 and was a member of the 200 freestyle relay claiming first in 1:38.7. He also posted three first place finishes in the meet with John Carroll, winning the 100 butterfly in 53.76, 200 freestyle in 1:46.4 and was a member of the 400 medley relay that won in 3:34.84. October 26, 2015 Jack Garrow, John Carroll John Carroll freshman Jack Garrow (La Grange, IL/Lyons Township) won the 100 backstroke with a school record time 53.76 to lead the Blue Streaks against Case Western Reserve University. The previous record of 54.16 was set in 2009. Garrow also won the 50 backstroke with a time of 26.62 and was part of the second place 200 medley relay team (25.03 back leg/1:39.21). February 2, 2015 David Spraul, Wilmington Wilmington sophomore David Spraul (Cincinnati/Princeton) led the Quakers against John Carroll, touching first in the 100 backstroke (55.35) and 200 backstroke (2:00.56). Spraul was also part of the winning 400 free relay (3:16.76) and 200 medley relay (1:42.61).

December 8, 2014 Trevor Keriazes, Ohio Northern Ohio Northern freshman Trevor Keriazes (Springfield) set one school record and surpassed the NCAA "B" Cut in three events to lead the Polar Bears to second place at The College of Wooster Invitational. Keriazes shattered the school record in the 400 I.M. by finishing third in 4:06.92, a full 1.38 seconds better than the previous record of 4:08.30. That time also surpassed the NCAA "B" Cut of 4:07.40. He also had an outstanding effort in the 200 I.M., winning the event in 1:52.74, a full .51 of a second under the NCAA "B" Cut time of 1:53.25. Keriazes was also part of the 400 medley relay team that finished third in 3:24.41, which was nearly seven seconds under the NCAA "B" Cut standard of 3:31.35.
