Three Earn All-American Honors at the 2012 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships
[3/26/12] - INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA -- Baldwin-Wallace junior diver Julie Pinter (Broadview Hts./ Brecksville-Broadview Hts.) and Ohio Northern sophomore Jordan Breitigam (Wayne/Bowling Green) and senior Michael Schultz (New Berlin, Wis./Martin Luther) earned All-American honors at the 2012 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships at the Indiana University Natatorium, March 21-24. The top eight finishers earn All-American honors and finishers 9-16 earning Honorable Mention All-American honors.

Otterbein’s Dick Reynolds Honored by the OAC
[2/22/12] - Dick Reynolds will be honored by the Ohio Athletic Conference for his 40 years of service and dedication as the Otterbein University Men’s Basketball Coach, with the naming of the Dick Reynolds Award. The award will be presented annually to the most outstanding men’s basketball player, beginning in 2012.

OHIO NORTHERN SET TO HOST THE 2012 OAC SWIMMING AND DIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF AKRON, OCASKE NATATORIUM
[2/3/12] - Austintown, OH – Ohio Northern will host the 2012 Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships on Thursday-Saturday, February 16-18, at the University of Akron Ocaske Natatorium. Preliminaries start at 11 a.m. on each day, while the finals will begin at 6 p.m. The top-three in each individual event and top-two relay teams will earn All-OAC honors. Five OAC schools: Baldwin-Wallace, John Carroll, Mount Union, Ohio Northern and Wilmington, along with affiliate member, Defiance College, will vie for the League title. Ohio Northern won its seventh consecutive men’s title and third consecutive women’s crown at the 2011 Championships. The ONU men tallied 339 points, followed by John Carroll (202), Baldwin-Wallace (148), Mount Union (130) and Wilmington (46). On the women’s side, ONU outlasted the field with 308 points, followed by Mount Union (205), JCU (140), Baldwin-Wallace (131) and Wilmington (62).

Ohio Northern Swimming & Diving teams to hold annual Swim for CF fundraiser Friday, Jan. 28
[1/24/12] - ADA — The Ohio Northern Swimming and Diving Teams are holding their annual “Swim for Cystic Fibrosis” Fundraiser Friday night during their 6 pm home meet against Notre Dame (Ohio) at the ONU Sports Center. Cystic Fibrosis is a rare disease that affects approximately 30,000 children and adults in the U.S alone. The money raised at the event will be donated to the CF Foundation.
