Ohio Northern's Dobkins and Bascom Named D3Soccer.com All-Americans
[1/6/12] - The Ohio Northern men’s soccer team continues to be rewarded for its hard work throughout the 2011 season, this time by D3Soccer.com. Senior Cory Dobkins and junior Nate Bascom were named 2011 D3Soccer.com All-America Second Team. Dobkins started in all of his 23 game appearances at midfielder, recording 15 points on four goals and seven assists. He earned his share of accolades this season, taking home NSCAA All-America, NSCAA First Team All-Great Lakes Region and OAC Midfielder of the Year laurels. Bascom started in all 24 of his game appearances as a forward and led the team and the conference in points (41) and goals (16) and was tied for first in assists at nine.

Ohio Northern's Men's Soccer Coach Brent Ridenour named NSCAA's Great Lakes Regional Coach of the Year
[12/6/11] - The National Soccer Coaches Association of America has honored men’s soccer head coach Brent Ridenour as the 2011 NSCAA/Mondo Great Lakes Regional Coach of the Year. This is the second Coach of the Year award Ridenour has received this season, as he was also named Ohio Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in November.

Baldwin-Wallace's Brennan and Ohio Northern's Bascom Named Men's Soccer Academic All-Americans
[11/30/11] - Baldwin-Wallace junior midfielder Pat Brennan (Akron/Walsh Jesuit) has been named CAPITAL ONE first-team Academic All-American, while Ohio Northern junior forward Nate Bascom (Cincinnati/Madeira)has earned second team honors.

[11/18/11] - DELAWARE — Three second-half goals doomed the Ohio Northern men's soccer team, as it fell 3-2 to sixth-ranked Ohio Wesleyan in the third round of teh NCAA Division III Tournament on Friday night at Roy Rike Field. The Polar Bears, ranked No. 8 coming into the game, end their season with a 20-3-2 mark. OWU, now 20-2, advances to play Hope (Mich.) in the national quarterfinals on Saturday.
