Men's Basketball
Mount Union senior forward Jimmy Wood (Wintersville/Indian
Creek) had 48 points, 11 rebounds, three steals and zero
turnovers last week to lead the Purple Raiders to a pair of wins
over Heidelberg and Baldwin-Wallace and the No. 7 seed in the
OAC Tournament. Wood scored a career-high 39 points on Saturday as
Mount Union rallied from a double-digit deficit to pick up an
overtime win against Heidelberg.
