Track- Capital freshman Josh Woods (Marysville) broke the school record and automatically qualified for the OAC Championships with a second place finish in the 200-meter dash (22.61) at the Rick Meindl Last Call meet host by Capital. This is Woods’ first attempt at this event in his college career. |

Track- Ohio Northern senior Alan Bowsher (Bowling Green) won the 5,000-meter run at the All-Ohio Championships with a time of 15:04.07 to shatter the school record 15:10.54. |

Field- Ohio Northern senior Jacob Weyruasch (Orrville) placed second and was the leading OAC finisher in the pole vault with an NCAA provisional mark of 15-3 at the All-Ohio Championships.

Mount Union freshman Charles Pratt (Canton/GlenOak) earned a second place finish in the 55-meter dash (6.58) and 200-meter dash (22.89) at the Jim Wuske Invitational host by Mount Union last week. Pratt was also a member of the 4x400-relay team (3:28.26).

Capital junior Cory Trump (Hilliard/Hilliard-Davidson) won the high jump at the Great Columbus meet with his best leap of the season at 6-06.00. Trump is currently tied for the best mark in the OAC.

Baldwin-Wallace senior Greg Patrick (Collins/Western Reserve) and junior Kevin Phipps (Reynoldsburg/Watkins Memorial) finished first and second, respectively, to win the shot put relay with a mark of 101’4.25”at the OAC Relays. Patrick threw 51’3” and Phipps 50’1.25”. Phipps also won the weight throw exhibition in 55’11.75” and Patrick was second in 52'7.50". The duo set meet relay records in both events.

Mount Union senior Scott Thomas (Salem/West Branch) was part of three first place finishes that led the Purple Raiders to a third place finish at the OAC Relays. Thomas placed second overall in the 55 meter dash with a time of 6.60. Thomas also was on the winning sprint medley relay (3:36.24) and the 4x200 meter relay team (1:32.92)

Ohio Northern sophomore Dan Smith (Avon) won the 3,000-meter run at the Northwest Ohio Invite hosted by Findlay. His time of 8:46.80 set the new Ohio Northern record for the event and went well below the OAC A Standard of 9:04.49. |

Field- Heidelberg senior Julius Higginbotham (Elyria) led the Berg in the field at the Northwest Ohio Invite hosted by Findlay, by placing first in the long jump with an NCAA provisional jump of 23’2”. Higginbotham also took second in the triple jump (42’5.50).
