OAC Hires Craig Griffith as Coordinator of Football Officials

Craig Griffith, who officiated OAC football for 13 seasons (1986-1998) before moving on to Division I, has been named coordinator of officials for the Ohio Athletic Conference.  Griffith officiated NCAA Division III and NAIA playoff games before moving on to Division I, where he officiated six bowl games, including the 2004 Cotton Bowl.  Griffith also worked in the United Football League and Arena Football League.

Griffith has recently been an observer/film grader for the OAC, Presidents Athletic Conference and Mountain East Conference.  Griffith, who also serves as coordinator of football officials for the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (GMAC), has also officiated college basketball on every level from 1981 through 2015.   Griffith has experience with volleyball officiating, having worked numerous Ohio High School Athletic Association playoff games in addition to Division I and Division III games.

Griffith resides in Louisville, Ohio and is the owner of SCG Logistics as a freight broker and is co-owner of Akron-Canton On Deck Academy.
