Capital senior setter Jenna Zumberger (DeGraff /Fairlawn) became the first Crusader ever to tally 3,000 career assists and 1,000 career digs with 39 assists and 15 digs against Muskingum last week. Zumberger now has 3,046 career assists and 1,045 career digs to her credit. On the week, she tallied eight kills, 55 assists, 23 digs and five aces.

Heidelberg freshman middle hitter Jacki Street (Grafton/Midview) led the Berg to a 3-1 record on the week, including an upset over #7 Wittenberg. Street had double digit kills in all four matches and hit at least .440 in every match, including .750 against John Carroll and .579 against #3 Carthage. On the week, Street recorded 51 kills, seven blocks and 11 digs and hit .537%.

Capital senior middle blocker Allison Hostetler (Dalton) led the Crusaders to a win over John Carroll with a season-high 26 kills with no errors, while hitting .578. She also added five blocks, seven digs and two aces. Against Heidelberg, Hostetler tallied 10 kills, six digs and four blocks.

Heidelberg sophomore outside hitter Venessa Hasse (Miamisburg) led the Berg to a 2-0 record last week with victories over nationally ranked Ohio Northern and the College Mt. St. Joseph. On the week, Hasse tallied an impressive 34 kills, 37 digs, four aces, one block and a .355 hitting percent.

Ohio Northern senior outside hitter Renee Berry (Perrysville/Loudonville) led the Polar Bears to a 4-0 record and the ONU Invitational championship. For her efforts, she was named MVP. Berry helped to lead ONU past two nationally ranked opponents, No. 8 Southwester and No. 16 Calvin. On the week, she averaged 9.5 kills per match, 17.75 digs per match and had a .405 hitting percent.
