Ohio Northern senior Meagan Brennan (Mason/Mt. Notre Dame earned medalist honors and led Polar Bears to a victory at the ONU Spring Fling. Brennan carded a 12-over par 84 in cold, windy conditions as ONU won the tournament with a 356.

Otterbein junior Rustie Anderson (New Philadelphia/Garaway) tied third out of 90 golfers at the Capital Purple and White Invitational last weekend. Anderson shot an 85 in the first round and a 81 in the second for an overall mark of 166 (+22 par).

Otterbein freshman Catherine Brunoehler (New Castle, Ind.) placed second among 83 golfers at the Ohio Northern Lady Polar Bear Invitational last weekend at the Colonial Golf Club. Brunoehler shot a 40 and 41 for a stroke total of 81 (+9 par).

Ohio Northern senior Meagan Brennan (Mason/Mount Notre Dame) carded an ONU school record 73 in round one of the Illinois Wesleyan Spring Fling. She finished with a 151 total and tied for first in the 91-player field. Nine of the 16 teams that competed were ranked and Brennan;s first round led ONU to a school record 330 as a team.

Ohio Northern junior Meagan Brennan (Mason/Mt. Notre Dame) claimed medalist honors at the Mount Union Invitational on Sunday with a 5-over par round of 77. Brennan made the turn at 1-over par 37 and came home in 40 for a round of 77.

Ohio Northern junior Meagan Brennan (Mason/Mount Notre Dame) tied for third at the Capital Purple and White Invitational with rounds of 83 and 81. Brennan also scored a team-high 6.5 points at the Ohio Cup last week.

Otterbein sophomore Katie Johnson (Upper Sandusky) shot 12 over par (83) to tie second of 73 golfers at the Wittenberg Spring Invitational last weekend. The Cardinals placed second of 13 teams.

Otterbein junior Rustie Anderson(New Philadelphia/Garaway) shot nine over par (71) to place first among 50 golfers at the Wilmington Invitational to earn medalist honors and lead the Cardinals to a first place finish. Anderson shot 11 over par (72) to tie third of 59 golfers at the Otterbein/Capital Invitational.
