Capital's Dwight Burgess Named NSCAA/Adidas

Great Lakes Region Men's Soccer Coach-of-the-Year

     Capital University head men's soccer coach Dwight Burgess was named NSCAA/adidas Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
As a Regional Coach-of-the-Year Award winner, Burgess is one of eight candidates for the 2007 NSCAA/adidas National Coach-of-the-Year. That recipient will be named at the annual NSCAA Convention January 16-20, 2008, in Baltimore.

     Burgess led the Crusaders to their best season in school history with a 15-2-3 record and an Ohio Athletic Conference regular season championship.  In fact Capital is unbeaten in 23 of its last 24 regular season games dating back to the 2006 season.
Burgess is in his eighth season as the Capital men's coach and also in his sixth year as the head coach of Capital's women's team.
