NCAA Selects Otterbein’s Miller for Men’s Golf Championships

Westerville, OH—Three-time All-America Andy Miller, a senior from Xenia, was selected to compete in the NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championships, the NCAA released today.
This marks Miller’s fourth trip to the national championship, which is scheduled for May 15-18 at the Hawthorns Golf and Country Club and Prairie View Golf Club in Indiana.
Miller, who holds the school career record of 11 tournament wins, heads into the championships ranked second in head-to-head competition among NCAA Division III players, according to Golfstat.
The All-America won three tournaments, averaging 73.2 strokes a round his senior season. Miller has recorded 34 top-10 finishes over his career. As a freshman in 2004, Miller finished 28th at the NCAA’s. He placed 38th in 2005 and 13th in 2006.
Thirty-five teams and five individuals were selected for the national tournament.
